Education Integration | The Luowave-BUPT "Industry-Education Integration Laboratory" Officially Unveiled!

[BEIJING, CHINA, March 5, 2025] — On the morning of March 5, 2025, the unveiling ceremony of the Industry-Education Integration Laboratory, jointly established by Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) and Wuhan Luowave Electronics Co., Ltd. (Luowave), was held in Room 417, Teaching Building 2 at BUPT.

Distinguished attendees included Yao Ming (General Manager of Luowave), Li Penglei (Marketing Manager), and Wang Xi (Technical Manager), alongside leadership from the BUPT School of Information and Communication Engineering: Dean Feng Zhiyong, Vice Dean Guo Caili, Deputy Director Liu Yitong, Professor Yin Liang, and Instructor Liu Xue.

During the ceremony, Luowave donated 30 units of USRP-LW B205 Software Defined Radio (SDR) equipment to BUPT for educational use. In addition to the hardware, Luowave will provide comprehensive training and technical documentation to assist BUPT faculty in curriculum and instructional design. Both parties are committed to building a flagship demonstration laboratory, focusing on curriculum innovation, experimental breakthroughs, and the evolution of talent cultivation models, while actively expanding the laboratory's academic and industrial influence.

This unveiling marks a significant milestone in the evolution of the school-enterprise collaborative laboratory, opening a new chapter for broader and deeper cooperation. Moving forward, Luowave and BUPT will utilize this laboratory as a vital link to enhance resource connectivity and result sharing. Together, they aim to set a benchmark for deep industry-academia integration, co-constructing a world-class platform to nurture the future of innovation.
