Small detection radar system
System principle:
The small radar detection system consists of two USRP-LW N321 connected to the PC/host computer, and the radar transceiver antenna. The system consists of one USRP-LW N321 to generate radar electromagnetic wave signals and transmit them through the radar antenna; the other USRP-LW N321 is used as the signal receiver to receive the echo signal reflected by the target. The PC/host computer calculates the speed, distance, RCS and other characteristic information of the target through the intensity, phase, delay, frequency and other parameters of the transmitted and received radar signals.
System function:
The small radar detection system transmits and receives radar signals of various systems such as FMCW and pulse Doppler through the USRP-LW N321 connected to the PC/host computer, and completes the determination of parameters such as relative distance and relative speed between the radar and the perceived target. The frequency of the system transmitter and receiver covers 3MHz-6GHz, and the real-time bandwidth is up to 200MHz. With a suitable radar antenna, the system operating frequency can be flexibly adjusted in the five bands of HF, VHF, UHF, L, and C. The radar system can be highly scalable, up to 128 * 128 channels and achieve high-precision coherent synchronization.
System application:
The small radar detection system can flexibly realize the detection radar function of different bands and different systems by changing the software configuration, and is highly scalable. The system can be widely used according to the needs of use, military can be used for object tracking radar, target imaging radar system and other directions; civilian can be used for vehicle speed radar, aircraft ranging radar and other systems; scientific research ionospheric altimeter, wind profiler radar, etc., with low cost, easy development, high maintainability, high scalability and other advantages.
