Link 11 Tactical Command Chain Simulation System
Link11 tactical chain of command simulation system is a simulation software based on open source software GNU Radio and Matlab, which can run perfectly on all models of SDR-LW series all-in-one computers. It mainly realizes a series of simulations based on Link11 transmission protocol, including simple Link11 signal coding and modulation, demodulation and decoding after receiving through the wireless air interface; radio silence mode of slave; polling call mode of master and slave based on configurable time window and number of devices.

The main operating environment of this simulation software system:
1、Ubuntu OS 18.04 +
2、UHD 4.0+
3、Matlab 2021a
4、GNU Radio 3.9.2
The simulation system is divided into three modules in total (as shown in the figure above). When performing Link11 simulation, only two RF channels of the SDR device need to be used, one receiving and one sending.
This experimental process completely simulates the Link11 protocol, and can perform co-frequency time-division communication or frequency division time-division combined communication (RF parameters can be configured at any time). The master station and slave station are established through wireless communication. The simulation system can complete practical exercises, simulation verification and other teaching activities. At the same time, the simulation system has the characteristics of sustainable optimization and open-source software platform. The corresponding functions can be adjusted according to the needs of actual simulation teaching and research.
