TCXO/OCXO is an onboard GPS signal synchronization device that provides high-precision 10MHz local oscillator and 1PPS signals for USRP (B210, X310, etc.)

OCXO (recommended for USRP-LW X310, X300):

This is an onboard GPS signal synchronization device using a thermostatic crystal oscillator, which can be compatible with USRP X300 or x310, and can also be used for USRP B200/B210, but the system requires an external power supply. GPSDO provides high-precision 10MHz local oscillator and 1PPS signals, which can greatly improve frequency accuracy and global timing applications.

Due to the use of a constant temperature crystal oscillator, the power consumption is relatively large, and it is generally recommended for USRP X310 and X300.

TCXO (recommended for USRP-LW B210):

The onboard GPSDO (TCXO) is the clock source module for GPS signal synchronization on the USRP B210 and B200, using a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator. The GPSDO provides high-precision 10MHz local oscillator and 1PPS signals, which can greatly improve frequency accuracy (75ppb when there is no locked GPS signal) and time synchronization globally (50ns, GPS locked state).

This product uses a temperature-compensated temperature-compensated crystal oscillator, which has relatively low power consumption. When used with USRP B200/B210, it does not need to be connected to an external power supply, but can be powered by USB 3.0.
